GP2 fuel problems

In Gp2, I always spend too much fuel on every lap, about 1.2 per lap, when
correct fuel consume is 1.0 per lap. Does anyone know why? Is there any car
setup option to reduce fuel consume?

You can setup your car to automatically confige fuel consumption

I dont know if there is a setup configuration that allows you to reduce the fuel
consumption, but you can change your driving style: try not to run too much time on high
revolutions (using higher gears with lower speed), and dont press to heavy on your
accelerator pedal all time.

Fuel consumption goes through the roof if you spend too much time on the rev
limit.  Tweaking your gear ratios should solve this.

Also going off into the gravel traps uses fuel cos you need to rev so much to
get out
