I have a store in Canberra, Australia and even though I don't really
like these simulator games I'd just like to congratulate you all on
your healthy zeal to these games.

It must be very rewarding for the programmers of  these games that
most of you take them so seriously.

The game just got released here this morning and I have not seen such
fervour since Doom 2 was released!  Personally I can't wait for Mr
Crammond to do Stunt Car Racer 2 with this engine!  Now that's more my
sort of game.  Sorry people, no offence horses for courses and all
that.

I had one guy ask me to hold him a copy or he would cry!  There were
so many early marks around this town today, that you could practically
hear the wheels of industry shut down and the wheels of Formula 1
start up!

I am keeping an eye on this newsgroup to get some feedback on this
game, so please post your framerates on your different spec machines.
Most people seem to be happy, though.  Even the DX66'ers!

I sell the Thrustmaster Formula T2 wheel as well as the new Mad Catz
steering wheel, both seem to be very popular, although a little on the
expensive side.  I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on these.

Well I have a T2 and are happy with it.
The game runs on a P166 with 16MB edo and a Diamond video 2MB gfx card.
The frate is about 19.5 fps with the sky texture and some mirror objects off.
Overall i'm very happy with the game.

I hope this helps :))

Bye
