I know this has been answered many times recently, but I can't seem to find any
of the answers to it in previous posts, so can we go over this just one more
time?  Since I installed the demo, my autorun is screwed and it's pissing me
off!

Keeps happening to me to.  Have to edit the registry
hkey_current_user/software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\explorer\NoDriveTypeAutoRun
= 95 00 00 00

Right click on "My Computer"

Click on the second tab, that shows the list of hardware in your
computer.

Double-click on the CD-ROM entry.

Double-Click on your CD-ROM Drive.

Click the second tab (I forget the name).

Put a check-mark in the 'AutoRun' option box.

In typical Windows fashion, you have to restart your computer for a
minor change.

You should try the method I gave first.  It works most of the time.

If not, then Frank's Registry edit is neccessary.

This is not a good way to start, though :)  Editing the registry is a
nightmare for most people, and it can be catastrophic for novices.

Oh, btw, I know of two cases where even the Registry Edit doesn't work,
and a new reload of Windows was necessary.

Like I said, try my way first :)

If that don't do it, get someone to help you.  The Registry is not
learnin' ground :)

Sorry, I missed a step.

After clicking on "My Computer", you need to select properties at the
bottom...
