What a nice way to ruin a man's work day :-) Now I can't
wait to get home and try some of that Noonan magic again!

Thanks!

DAMN, I'm at work now, have to wait 7 hours before I can test it!
What a pleasant surprise, can't wait to get home!
Thanks David!

Hi Alex. 1:43.04 is my best so far with the Lotus but it can be
improved pretty much I'd think. :)

I have all of my Osterreichring setups and some replays at my site.
Oh, and new camera files for it too.

So the AI seems to be very quick there, clark is turning 43.5 laps there.
Me, after my first familiarization Session i'm 10secs off his pace in my
Honda. The virtual Clark surely must be proud to see that he's pretty close
to your best time..... for now :)

This Track is great, great, great. Inredibly exciting to drive. A shame that
modern Racetracks are nothing like it!

I hope DN is starting to work on the full 10km Monza. BTW does anybody know
DN's e-mail?

It's in the readme file included in the Osring zipfile.

I did a 1m48 on my first flying lap on the track (also using an
unmodified Zandy setup). I guess the fact that I made an Osterreichring
track for GP2 helps :-))

Well ive now walked it down to a 1:49.01 so im not too far off that pace :)  I
think the Zandy gears are a bit too short for the long straights here.  I can
only hit a top speed of about 173 so I know I need more speed.  Gonna go tinker
witha few things now.

Try Greger's setups, they're excellent (as always!) and have helped me
get the Ferrari down to a low 1m46, but that's still 3 seconds off the
alien himself :-)

I'm still trying to figure out that looong slow left-hander towards the
end of the lap, getting the line right through there is a nightmare!

The slow left hander is tricky.. you'll get a *** push as your nose
gets light from the drop off... you can either take a late apex/Double
Apex or rotate the car into the turn and then use the power to keep the
rearend*** in a 4 wheel drift. I've got my time down to a 1:44.4
with the eagle.. I should be able to get into the 1:43's in due time.
Btw that's a great spot to make a pass if you can hold it on the inside.
The person in front pushes and backs off the throttle as you power by
with a full on powerslide.:)
It's a great technical Track with a few double apex's and challenging
elevation changes. The first turn is a tricky high speed blind turn as
well. :)
Thank You Mr. Noonan :)

*!%*!*&*!!!

That's remarkable, I was just about to post tracks that I wish were
available for GPL and the O'ring was one of my top picks!

That's made my day:-)

Much kudos as ever to Dave Noonan.

And boy, you were way off on the heights :-)
Everything in GPL looks much steeper than in GP2.

Zandy setups seem to be the way to go.  I couldn't get under 1:47 with
the default Lotus setups, no matter what I tried,  the car seemed almost
undrivable - Oversteer/Understeer wombling off!  Copied my Zandy setup
across and, within a dozen laps, got it down to 1:45.3 with plenty of
scope for improvement. :-)

I'm getting ready to 'Rumble' this weekend.
