Hello all,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Thrustmaster. On monday March
the 8, i ordered a set of Nascar Pro pedals springs (mine broke...), today i
received them with a note on how to install them...

Good work, i thought it would be nice to share my experience with you.

Now i can go back to practice GPL, hehe.

Regards,

Christian Giroux.

Yes they are very good at it, and they deserve all the good words. Too
easy to forget about good things around and only rave about the bad
things.
Keep up the good work TM!

Bullshit!!!. Thrustmaster stinks. I ordered parts on Feb 19th, never got
them. Have spent two hours on the phone listening to music. Have sent 12
e-mails with no response. THRUSTMASTER STINKS!!!

I can only state my experience with TM for the 2 years I used my T2. I don't
have any motives, as I have a TSW now <g>. In every case when I emailed TM
for springs, pots, and tune up kit, I had the parts in 7-10 days.

Don,

Yes they have.   Now I just wish they would get a little better at the practice
of not requiring replacement parts <VBG>

I just rebuilt by NPro last night before my league race.  I replaced my bungee
in the wheel because it was starting to be off center on return.  You dont
realize how loose the bungee is until you replace it with a fresh one =)

Well sorry to hear that, it must be annoying to wait for the parts. I kind
of know since i wasn't able to drive GPL waiting for the springs. Maybe they
ran out of the parts you ordered and they have to get new one ?

As i stated i am very please by the service i recieved.

Christian Giroux.

Hello Scott, you do have a good point, hehe. While i waited for my springs,
i changed the wires from the steering. It turned out that my red buttons
weren't working because the wires were cut. I also have a screwdriver (the
tool not the drink hehe) standing by for tightning back the wheel screw.

One of the main reasons I support TM products and will continue to do so is
because they support their customers. They used to monitor this ng fairly
often, not sure if they still do. They don't sell you something and then
forget you as do many manufacturers. You just reminded me that I have one of
my accelerator springs broken (only the second in 2 years) and need to go to
their site and order one. Bungee is starting to get a bit sloppy too, not
bad, but will see if they can send me one of those too just in case. At
least I know that they will take care of me in a very short time, and will
continue that support as long as I own their product. This can't be said by
any manufacturer in their price range that I know of. Keep up the good work,
and thanks if you read this, TM. For price, quality, and most of all,
support you are hard to beat.

Ed, I had a similar problem and ordered a bungee and a new steering pot for
my T2.  Not only did they send me these items, but they also sent me two new
pulley/guides for the bungee.  As it turned out, one of mine was badly
broken.  Adding the fresh bungee, pot,  and replacing the pulley made my T2
feel brand new.  Thrustmaster really does have great support.

Ordered new pots and springs for my 3 year old T2 friday night remembering
when I ordered a spring about a year ago it showed up on my doorstep 5 days
later. I also read this original post a short time later. Realizing just how
happy I have been with Thrustmaster products I decided what the hell I think
it's time for a new wheel setup. Saturday morning I went down and bought a
new Nascar Pro setup. When the T2 parts come in I will rebuild it and pass
it on to my son.
Service and support really do pay off. I never considered any product other
than Thrustmaster.

I've been trying to contact TM to order new
springs for my Nascar Pro. The result... online it
says the unit is not serviceable. (i've got it
apart waiting). I sent support an e-mail and  I've
also faxed them a request... nothing.

I am confused, as I just checked Thrustmaster's web site and you can
order springs for this unit.  You will need to setup a login and
register your product and then you can order parts.  Did you go to the
following link
<http://www.thrustmaster.com/support/cs/customer/login.cfm>?

The NASCAR Pro is still serviceable and if need be you can get an RMA if
the parts you need are not listed in the Order Parts section.
