SCGT + ACT-RS sucks, the answer

The answer from act labs to the apparent lack of FF in SCGT:

All games are simply not created equally.
I have a feeling that the authors of SCGT only ever tested that game
with the Microsoft based FF wheels. With Immersion based hardware, the
game always resonds just as you have noticed - no FF when on-track
except for the odd bump or slide.

With the latest Force RS drivers, you can force the centering effect to
be present at all times, unfortunately that could also drown out what
little FF effects there are in the game.

Honest answer, I guess.

I guess F1 2000 is based on the same game engine since the story continues
there. First without the unofficial patch the game crashed when I crashed.
After applying the patch there are some FF effects now and then, most of the
time nothing at all.

IMHO EA rushed F1 2000 out to make it to the opening of the F1 season and
beating the oppsition (GP3).

Otherwise I really like my Force RS and shifter.

P.S. Thank you Papy for finally letting the Voodoo's RIP. D.S.
