Of course it is !

But watch out if you have an under-powered car and your trying to draft a
Loti.. I blew my motor before the Masta Kink as I was trying to slingshot a
pass with the help of the draft.. the revs were too high and boom, all I
heard was the wind ;)

I can get 8MPH higher on the straights in a draft with a lotii.  Only
problem is watch out for the braking zone, have to brake much earlier.

hi ..

I remember that slipstreaming used (and still is) a strategy that would

In GPL, is slipstreaming simulated?

Thanks.

Yep. I crashed out of a battle for the lead at the Glen once because I
caught a draft *just* before the braking zone... I had to pull out to
avoid rear-ending him, I caught him so fast, so unexpectedly (catching
someone at the end of a straight in a Brabham is *always* unexpected). I
slid off the road at the Loop. When I looked at the replay, I was going
5 mph faster than when lapping alone.

It is *definitely* modeled...

Are you saying that GPL simulates driver flatulence? :)

Only at the Nurburgring. The German word for "drive" is, of course, "fahrt."

Most definitely, yes, it is simulated.
