is it possible for sometthing to have an onborade agp syatem and agp slot?
my onboard system is an intek 810 chipet PV 2.1
ia this better than my voodoo3 2000 PCI
also are there any new pci cards coming out or is it best to get a new mb

V3 is better.

You won't need the AGP slot for a while yet. The V3's as good as a TNT2
for general ***, and the GeForce/GF2/V5 don't offer enough advantages
(especially wrt to GPL) to interest anyone without lots of spare cash.

The general rule is though -- as others have said -- onboard
sound/graphics/etc. are *great* for producing affordable PCs but *lousy*
for any user keen on optimising their hardware.

Heck no that 810 is no way better than the V3.  The V3 is way better.  BTW
one of the V5's (the 5000?) is PCI; but I think it is possible to have the
onboard and a regular AGP card, you just need to actually have the AGP slot
and be able to disable the onboard (or run two monitors!)
