I hardly think you can apply more pressure to TEN/Papyrus than they are
applying to themselves. They are making "zero" dollars on the NROS and
you don't think they feel pressure yet? I sense from what I've read,
that they are doing all they can as fast as they can. I can't imagine it
being any different considering their investment into this project.
Lotsa bucks!

I'm curious. How many people out there have ideas on how NRO is going to
rank drivers? How about how long from rollout until the "First Season"
will start? How will one advance to "THE BIG SHOW"? How will one get "sent
down"? Will there be different leagues? Different series? Will there be a
"premier" division?

Anyone else getting tired of this? Why are we getting so little
information from TEN? I am looking for people who are ready to race and
ready to put more pressure on TEN and Papy. I do realize the complexities
of establishing a multiuser IP client/server based NASCAR racing system,
but I also realize that there is a substantial market here and if that
market dictates, some one should provide the goods! I am interested in
hearing al thoughts, flames, etc.....

Hey if you REALLY (and I mean reeeeally) want to know all what's up with
NROS (all of it), get a new USENET server host at localnews.ten.net and
go to the TEN.games.simulation.nascar newsgroup.  It's big, very big
(takes up many r.a.s. customers, get back here please !!), more than
2000 posts since it's started.  You will get there all the info you want
(or all the info TEN/NROS let's you).  But this is a serious newsgroup,
and you should be advice before getting to it.  Thanks a lot,

With great respect,

TEN/Sierra/Papyrus is taking so long, becaues, UNLIKE other games like Diablo,
Quake, etc etc, they are building in "Cheat Catchers". Remember, NASCAR has
sanctioned NROS as an official 13th league. This is no petty anti
"hack-n-slash" online game like the others. It's needs to be as cheat proof as
they can get it. While NASCAR isn't completly cheat free (IMHO), NROS wont be
either, but they are setting it up as best they can for such cases.
Personaly, I'd rather know I didn't get to go to the banquiet(sp) for the NROS
champion ship because a better driver, not hacker, beat me.
