he's good at it. For some reason, we can't connect online directly in SCGT
(we can in other games). Is there a site we can go to and easily set up a
race just between the 2 of us so I can beat him at this game too?

You can only connect via TCP/IP with SCGT.
The host should be the fastest computer. He can get his IP by selecting START
/ Run ... Type in "winipcfg". Choose you internet connection via the drop
down box and write down the number in the IP address field (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx).
The host should choose the "Create Race" option and the client choose "Refresh
race list" about 3 times until you see it.
