Why this career mode?  SCGT had the same thing.  I used the cheat codes in SCGT,
and went after the real beasts to run.  You should have a choice. Some guys like
the career mode, I would rather get at the Top-Fuelers right out of the gate.

Ahh, when is DTR2 coming out with the SPRINTS.  Think I will wait on the
sprints.

Hava-Tampa who?

Unlike SCGT you can race any car you like in quick race mode. The career
mode is all about chasing series points and earning enough money to keep
your car going to the next race. (which is what dirt racing is all about).

Dirt Track Racing Preview

I look forward to the next part of this preview. I really like what I have
seen so far. The cars look good, I see a Camaro, Mustang, Monte Carlo, and a
Charger. When you add this to the Chevelle, well it looks like Saturday
night at Orange County Speedway. I want a monthly figure eight series.
Heats, consi's and features.
Just here waiting....

The Mocker.

It's to keep you playing for longer, as you'll continue trying to get
enough points for the higher end vehicles.

But personally, I'm with you - I like to be able to get straight into
whichever car I choose, just like in GPL and the Nascar series.

On the other hand, if it's true that Quick Race option allows you to
pick any car you like, where's the problem?
