I wish there was a trick for converting GPL tracks to drive around in
GTR2002. I can only dream of taking the Lister Storm around the Ring.

Any chance of that happening?

The lord of the Rings is already avaliable.
Get it here: http://f1racing.servegame.com/TheRing.htm

But driving it in netKar is better. ;)

There is a quick and dirty Ring conversion for the F1 2k2 mods.  Simbin
is working on three versions that will be much more detailed and with many
of the bumps smoothed out etc.  Try the one mentioned above for now, wait
for the real thing later.

It works with the alfa 147, and M3 Challenge mods also.

I made GPLex some time ago (on www.racer.nl) which exports most GPL
track objects to VRML. That doesn't mean you get nice perfect F12k2
tracks, but the process is a bit easier.

Not sure what versions of the Ring were done with GPLex, but it seems
lately just about any game now has the (22km) Ring, which is good. :)
