GPL with Momo wheel

I have only had very limited experience with GPL before the old wheel crapped
out.  I just bought a Momo FF wheel set.  Do I need to do anything special to
get this wheel working with GPL?  Please bear with me as I'm a novice.  Thanks

  make sure gpl is patched to v1.2 and you enable FF in the file core.ini

  use notepad to open core.ini and look for this line

[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 0                 ; Use FF if device has it
change that to:

[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 1                 ; Use FF if device has it

  save and reboot gpl.
make sure you are editing core.ini not core.ini.sample

Again, I'm a novice, so bear with me.  How do I patch to v1.2?   I assume I
need to go to a site and download this patch?

go to the below link to the US PITS and download the 1.2 patch.  Just click on
the patch, download, click on the downloaded file and it will automaticaly
patch the game.
