They're doing car sharing in Vancouver now?  Is there a website with
details?  The system works really well here in Switzerland.  I'm trying to
imagine if it would work in Vancouver, but somehow I just see all of them
sitting on the Lion's Gate Bridge going nowhere!  :-)

It is perhaps appropriate that if you look on google maps and zoom in on
Vancouver, you see a huge traffic jam coming off Marine Drive (?) and onto
the bridge.

How much does on pay for the service?

Nothing to be ashamed of :)

My Skoda Octavia vRS has the venerable VW 1.8 20v Turbo in 180bhp
configuration.  A mere chip change (once the warranty is out!!) will
boost me to circa 230bhp which the motor is MORE than capable of
handling.  With FWD don't think I'd want more...

A while back I believe either Car or Evo magazine rated it as "best hot
VW".  It's a respected car to those in the know and it's pretty safe to
park.  Only yesterday a Scoob owner told me "If only that car was 4wd
I'd have had one..."

Massive boot means it's an ideal car for a young family (like mine) and
it's always up there for ownership satisfaction in various surveys -
which is nice :)

Many of us Skoda owners are smug bastards, safe in the knowledge we
bought a quality car for our money, not a badge...

Had 2 SEATs before this motor.  I don't see anything at the mo that
will make my next car anything other than a Skoda...  If I win the
Lotto I'll get myself an '05 Mustang but keep the Octy for day-to-day
use :D

Don't know if this means anything, but Skoda races.  VW doesn't :)
