Driver: No Car Sound/Changing missions w/editor?

I just snagged the official Driver demo. I get the police voices, but
no car sounds. SBLive Value w/latest drivers.
I know they're there, I played the WAV's in the sound directory.

Also, how do you change the missions with the Mission Editor?
I must be doing something wrong. I can select the missions, but when I
save and launch the game, I can still only play the chase mission.
What are the other two missions?

That old Ferrari 250LM (or whatever) is fast as hell, but it needs new
shocks bad. :-)

Whoah, though it was just me with this problem. I have a diamond Mx200 that
stuffs up as well. Hope that this is not a problem with the final. May be it
is a prob with the editor. Might reinstall without it/

Funny. But I have no idea what the reason might be.

I think you have to backup the 661 mission and rename the other
missions to 661 to play them. If you are using the same editor I have
(the one obtainable via 3dfiles.com), you have to expicitly save the
changes before exiting the program. Otherwise, it will discard the
changes without asking.

It sure does, just like all the cars in Driver. :) Take the Ferrari to
the bridge in downtown (north from the default starting point, second
to last street on the left before leaving downtown again) and do some
serious jumping. :)

I had the same problem with the SBLive Value.
The solution I know, is to download the Live!Ware 2.0 drivers (and other
stuff) and the Live!Ware 2.1 "update" (I would call it "bugfix") from the
CREATIVE website
http://www.sblive.com/
and install it.
Worked great for me (although the engine sound in Driver is crap, IMO).
Unfortunately the Live!Ware 2.0 stuff is about 28 Megs, but you can download
it in small chunks.
