Howdy,
I wanted to create a car set so I ran "paintkit joe", I then got
an error something like "Can not copy a file". So I copied cars/car95.dat
to joe/joe.dat, then brought it in to paintlit, painted my car, saved
it. When I try to read it in to ICR2 I get an error "Invalid car set".
Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone ran into this before?
Any help is appreciated.

You are close to the solution. When you run paintkit the command line
needs to include the "directory" name of a valid *.dat file. The *.dat
file in the directory must have the same name as the directory and must
reside under the cars directory. However, this directory must also
contain a valid drivers2.txt file. For added measure also copy the
drivers.txt file to this directory. Adding these 2 files should solve
the "invalid car set" error.
