What country is the game server in ?  Same as that web server ? I'm getting
a ping of 380ms to that web site from Australia so I guess trying to race
would be futile....

The country is the same, but I believe it's my web host's problem, not mine.
I hosted a test server last week and there were 0 lag problems.
