As posted earlier, Electronics Boutique (www.ebworld.com) claimed that Grand
Prix Legends shipped TODAY!!! .. and should be in stores within 24 HOURS!!
Yeah!! Plus, too boot - they are offering it for only $34.99 on their
website!!

HOWEVER...

I just got off the phone with Cendant's warehouse... VERY INTERESTING..

All I'll say here is I HOPE YOU DIDN'T ORDER DIRECTLY FROM SIERRA...

It was a huge multi-page glossy EB ad so it probably went into a bunch of mags.
I think EB is honoring it because they don't think that many people will go back
and hunt down the ad.  

I've had mine tacked to the bulletin board for months now!  ENJOY!

   Nothing new.  With past releases, Sierra's direct sales would lag a
week or two behind the earliest retail outlets (like EB).  While it
would seem counter-intuitive, buying direct from the publisher (at
least Sierra) is *not* the way to be the "first on your block" (unless
your block has *no* software stores :).

If they give me a hard time I will march across the street to Circuit City and
have them match it and give me 10% on top of that.  It's a legitimate PRINTED
adverti***t and there are no disclaimers on the ad saying prices are subject
to change.

Pretty sure you got them by the short hairs as long as you have the ad.

Btw......I pre-ordered through Sierra. My copy shipped 2 day air
today.
