Formula 125 kart mod for F1C

I posted quite a while back just after F1C was released and didn't seem
to get much response.
It may have been because it is a stupid idea or maybe because there is
just no interest but I thought I would try again.
There are no good kart sims out there, I have tried them all. Is it
possible to produce a Formula 125 mod  and more importantly, would there
be any interest.  I think it would be quite good given the low centre of
gravity and the power to weight ratio. If I am not mistaken,  I observed
on some TV program a 125 shifter posting a faster lap at Monaco than the
F1 cars due to the faster cornering ability. With some new tracks I
think this could be an awsome mod to play online.
Seeing as there is an abundance of kart racers out there, me included,
it could probably be developed quite accuratly. I would also like to
help in any way I can.
Please give me some feedback.

I think there was a KARTING mod project, but last I heard they had
stopped work.  CHeck out some of the mod sites that keep track of upcomming
work.  I beleive the latest site to add this is Blackhole Motorsports.

I would definitely like to see a good kart mod.  I have never been in
anything faster than a 5 hp kart, but I do that pretty regularly and it is
great fun.  The directness of the handling is like nothing else.  I would
love to have karts in a game.

Of the kart games available, what in your opinion are the best few? Ive
bought a copy of Super 1 Karting and am just waiting for it to arrive and
was wondering if anyone knew if it was any good

Yep, it is.  Well, at least I think it's pretty decent.

No GPL (which takes up most of my track time still), but rather nice.
Quite well rendered outdoor British cart tracks. There's been a thread
in this group (you can Google it up) where it's been called "GPL with
little wheels".  It does feel, by and large, like the karts I've raced
now and then.
