Actually, it's called the Alligator -- click on the "hatched" link

The first batch will be 36 of these, his race number when he won at Spa.

It looks like something my Grandpa would ride. If you're gonna build a
scooter, build a scooter. The paint looks good at least.

And don't you wish that Dan Gurney was your Grandpa?!!

With that long wheelbase and low center-of-gravity height, it doesn't
wheelie on hard acceleration -- and thus has probably the fastest 0-60 mph
time of _any_ street motorcycle.

Thx, Doug!  Dan has been working on this bike since forever and is very
proud of it.

Ever feel trapped by your paradigms?

Sheesh - I think they are awesome looking machines
and it's about time someone was prepared to challenge
the design principles that motorcycles have been
limited by for many years.

Yes I do, but that wasnt what I was getting at.

Unless you're racing motorcycles, they're all about looking cool, and I just
dont see how you could look cool on one like this...if the seat was
traditional, it would kick ass. Now, it just looks like one of those
motorcycles that's placed inside of its giant wheel.

Maybe....I hope it has good brakes for the upcoming corner.....<g> But
with 70+ Bhp, I don't think it will outrun bikes like the GSX-R 1000.
Beside that, doing a wheelie is also fun.
