F1 RS...looking to write an "all-encompassing FAQ"

Well-

If you don't have this yet, it blows GP2 away- this after over
a year of almost daily play. I think that the 3Dfx card and the game
cost were worth it, even the hassle of getting the game in the USA.
But, that aside, some problems....

1) Since we've seen some people tweaking with the .ini settings, is it
possible that somebody can say what all of these do?

2) How about a BETTER explanation of the interface?? The manual SUCKS
(I have the English version)- the pictures aren't even the same, and
the click-buttons the manual mentions aren't even in the game. The
first half of the manual is a flashy bit of feculent offal, and really
doesn't tell you a thing about USING THE GAME. The hints on cornering
and setup are nice, but sometimes it doesn't say anything about USING
THE GAME to set up the car.

3) Somebody have any idea how the telemetry works?? Is the '30mm
minimum' for ride height taking the dreaded plank into account? if I
set to 30mm it drags drags drags.

I suppose the best way to do this would be to lump it into an
all-encompassing FAQ, one that covers both the interface and the
gameplay. The helpful bit on http://www.racesimcentral.net/
cover stuff like that.

Please email me anything that you've discovered, heard, etc
etc. Depending on the frequency/volume of stuff, I will post weekly
(or more!) to this group, and I will send to the aforementioned page
to get the info on that site.

Thanks,
Jeff
