"New" tracks for ICR-2

I downloaded two tracks that have been converted for ICR-2.  One is
called, Sonoran and looks like crap.  I suspect a pallette shift.  The
other is called Eagles Land and holy cow, the physics is bad, not to
mention the magenta box that goes before you.  Is this normal of
converted tracks?

First, you're using the Windows version of ICR2 I'm going to guess.  And
Sonoran isn't that great anyway.  And then, ICR2 doesn't like super high banks.
The cars get waaaaaaaay too sensitive on the high banked ovals.

Yep, using Windows version.  The DOS version will not see my joystick nor the sound
card.  Yep, try as I might, if I didn't slow down going into the turns, major
oversteer.  What is odd is that I won the pole, but the AI cars ran faster during
the race (not to mention that they jump around like NASCARs and not CART cars).

Somewhere I used to have a C***te conversion that worked well in Windows.  I did
a 250+ lap there with the a GP carset.  I can't seem to find it now.

Might be worth trying to run the dos version from a windows box. You can
set-up a bat file to run it that way. I can't remember the exact command but
it's something like c:\icr2\indycar2 -h you need the -h switch to use the
high res. graphics. If you can get it to run that way it might solve your
problem ( I've never used the converted tracks so can't say for sure). The
windows version can cause problems I believe.
