It's not that hard to do. If you can install a vid card, you can build a new
box. Get a new motherboard and CPU/HSF, maybe new ram, a new case with a
good power supply, you can probably use your drives you have now. Put it all
together, fresh install of Windows, and you'll be rocking. The motherboard
will come with a manual that will be very helpful. The trickest part will be
installing the HSF on the CPU. Look at newegg.com for parts.

  Monarch computers(a mailorder company) will install the cpu/heatsink and
test it then ship it already assembled.  I ordered some stuff for my son
and was disappointed when only one box was inside the shipping carton.  
Then when I hefted said box...a big smile spread.  
  His system is running at idle 12 to 14c less than mine when I have a h/s,
room airconditioner and box fan blowing in.  Stressed it stays a good 10c
below mine without a hint of heat problems...guess where I'm going back to
soon....
