[To rec.autos.simulators readers: check out
http://www.racesimcentral.net/~dgymer/lfrs or FTP to didnt.doit.wisc.edu and look
in /PublicFiles/Racing/F1GP/lfrs/. If anyone has a publicly accessible
FTP site and would be prepared to act as the "official" LFRS FTP home
please, please get in touch.]

The pre-season testing results from Silverstone are now available on
the WWW. I was originally going to have all results in the same file
but because of the enormous number of entrants I decided that 400k
(the size the file would have been by the end of the season) was a
little bit much to download after each event. :-)

I corrected one mistake; Ivanhoe Vasiljevich has an "L" in his family
name. (Well done team-mate!). If you spot anymore, send them to me as
well as Steve so that I can update the page.

I want to say a big "thank-you" to Steve for all the hard work he's put
into this series so far. I seem to recall him having trouble finding
the time to process the LF3000 results when there were only about 20 or
30 drivers; I think he must have been up for 48 hours processing our
times!

Many of you have asked about the AI files for the main season; yes,
there will be a completely new set for the championship races,
consisting of "real" drivers from LFRS. I will endeavor to get those
files out after we finish testing at the Hungaroring, at least for the
Endurance and Challenge divisions. It is also possible that Endurance
will use "CCPit" to try and make the AI cars faster.

Chisa!

Dave,

Hi there.  I should be able set up an LFRS FTP site pretty soon (ie.
next couple of days) on the silicon graphics machine we've got here.

What are you looking for exactly?

Cheers, Ross.
