GPL demo and Banshee

by Richard G Cleg » Fri, 04 Dec 1998 04:00:00

I'm having problems running the GPL demo (the Monza one) with my new
Banshee card.  IT works fine in s/w emulation but not in 3dfx mode.  As
far as I know I've got recent drivers for everything and a good directX
install.  Anyone else had this problem?

P.S. Colin McRae rally looks superb with a banshee.  Runs smoothly at
800x600 with all effects on.  On my old card (Apoc 5D) I didn't even
know that some of the New Zealand stages were foggy.  Also the night
driving is so much easier on the new card.  For some reason the old card
everything not in the headlight beam was invisible.  With the new card
I find myself holding my breath in the Greece stages so I don't inhale
the dust.

Hi,

The demo didn,t work with my Phoenix maxi gamer banshee card, the complete
game runs great (even on my P200 MMX) in 800 x 600
