David, I just love the "Sagan sig-quote" you have!!

- The ability to put drivers on the grid in your own order of preference
(would be so nice for league racing)
- A 'save' button for setups (not just 'save as')
- The ability to use the existing GPL1 tracks

Leo

Cheers. I'm a great fan of the bloke - he died too soon :-(

you could use the award-winning and free template toolkit
(http://www.template-toolkit.org/) to suck the gpl data in (parsing
race report files) and spit out your web pages, based on your own
templates.

you'll need to install perl though.

Not for the results, no. Only laptimes (records)

There are a number of such league tools today. Ofcourse we could
implement it in GPLRA, but I doubt we'll do it. (have to draw the line
somewhere...).

Cheers,

Ahh, but just clicking the green button saves the setup for you.

And also loads it as default next time. Which is my main gripe with F1
2001 (apart from the MSFF split axis travel problem unsolvable in
Win2000), it's freaking annoying to have to save by writing the setup
name and not clicking anything, and having to load the setup each and
evey time i exit the track.

Olav,

In F1 2001 you can pick a default set up for each track.  I think it's
the icon right next to the save icon.  Unfortunately it's still not
smart enough to give you a different default for each car, but if you
stick with the same car all the time that is not a problem.

... and puts me in another menu as well, when I just wanted to save a setup.
Small gripe but hey, this is a wish list!

Bye,
Leo
