I don't have a solution but have the same problem.  If you get to the bottom
of it please report back.

I don't have that problem yet, but am curious about the detailed description
of the squeak.  I may be able to figure it out from that.
I disassembled mine last week to investigate the build quality and was
impressed.  The structure on the wheel support and FF drive and all the
bearings are decent quality.  One possible area to generate the squeak might
be the motor.  It's not uncommon for those cheap motors to make a sqeaking
noise as the brush contacts the commutator.  You could try a quick spray
with lubricating contact cleaner.  Don't use much and try to avoid the shaft
bushings.

yeah the squeaking comes when the wheel is turned from side to side via the
forces when its strsight its quiet ...otherwise the wheel itself works
fine...me thinks its dust inside ...contacted logi they want me to call
their non toll free line to discuss lol no support via emails ...nice
eh???well i think warranty is 1 yr but its not malfunction i think just dust
inside i think...i hope lol ...well if anyone knows lets us know cuz there
are many momos out there so im sure there will be many more with same prob
...
