I see NFS2 is getting some pretty heavy panning from some quarters.  NFS2 is a
GREAT racer.  Nice road feel, terrific graphics and a very impressive feeling
of speed.  The only problem is that u need a very good system to get the most
out of it.  Ive got a P150 with a bodgy video card and to acheive really good
framerates play it on INterlaced mode (looks bad initially, but u get used to
it).  Im finding it very enjoyable, and I do prefer it over the first game.

My advice, play it on bumper cam (full screen, without dashboard) whack on
some headphones and go for a blast.

Actually the final straw - the one that's making me take NFS II back -
are the poor graphics at high speed. Even if you set the graphics low
to get a high frame-rate, there is a fatal flaw with the road textures
where they appear to be standing still at very high speeds. It is
extremely disorienting and annoying, and takes away the one redeeming
feature this game could have had (i.e., the sensation of high speed).
