Att MRM re AMA online

I posted this somewhere else on RAS but im not sure if you will see
it.

Anyway a couple of things re AMA online and its servers

I have been playing online from here in New Zealand and Im allways
seeing peoples bikes warp and drive all over the place, I played last
night with a friend of mine whos is here in NZ too, we were using
Roger Wilco and he kept on telling me to get of the grass all the time
and stick to the track, well on my FE i was on the track all the time
and never left it while he was reporting this, so I think your servers
need looking at.  Now the reason I say this is I know you are from
the same background as the Warbirds guys, well I fly WB online from NZ
all the time and I have really good connects, I ping all the WB routes
no higher than 250-300 most nights, I allways have a green becon and
its unsually for me to see warping at ll in close dogfighting with
over 20-30 planes. SO from this I hope you can see that your servers
and routes ned looking at and maybe adjustments made.

BTW are U using simlar server set up to what IMOL use for the WB host
and also do you have the same pipes comeing in ??.

Also may I suggest you add a becon to the bike (like WB has in the
plane) somewhere as its very hard to tell what the connect is like
aswell, also are you able to tell us the IP number of the host so we
can ping the server to test what connects are like.

Im also haveing trouble with the chat too, I gather its on the . key
and when i press it the first time I can type a msg and hit enter and
I see it come up on the chat screen, but if I hit . again it kicks me
out to the desktop and I have to rejoin the game.

Anyway good luck with this game and im looking forward to some Car
raceing action on your servers too.

Chat is started with the / key, not the . key.  The . key is used
to exit to the previous menu.

We have implemented some new filtering code in the beta test
that we are trying out. I'll look into it.

Could you email me (at the address below) a few pings and a
traceroute to one of our IP addresses (see your client.ini file)?

We have a T3 right off UUNet. They guarantee us very good connects
to most ISPs in the US and also to Europe, but AFAIK,
we haven't heard from your area yet.

The / key opens the chat message.
The period key is the default for leaving the track  (Oops ;)
