Its a damm site faster on the PC, however the grainy textures on the
playstation do have some thing going for them. I run it under Orchid 12mb
SLI and it tends to smooth the textures too much.

The PC would be the final choice as it has excllent forcefeedback!

Now that Colin McRae Rally's come out on the PC, how does the PC
version compare with the Playstation version?

I've rented it on the Playstation. It worked really well with the dual
shock controller, and it was nice to see it on the 'big' screen. The
PC version presumably has higher resolution graphics, and being able
to use my steering wheel would also make a big difference, but I'm a
bit concerned about frame rates with my 233MMX and Voodoo Rush
graphics card.

And higher resolutions - I'm surprised you find the Voodoo2 graphics on CMR
over-smoothed - it looks the business on my 12Mb Creative. Did you find the
smoothing option in the options menu. The fps will also be better on a
high-spec PC.

I wish it had a proper 3dfx mode though, rather than direct x 6
