Achim,

Have you moved your website for road course setups?  Following link not
working for me  http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Thanks,
Bob

I've taken it down in anger about someone's passing the Ring and Spa to
someone else despite Dave's clear statement in the converter regarding this
issue.

That sucks Achim. I wish people wouldn't just pass the tracks around. Ruins
it for the rest of us.

Achim:

I can appreciate where you're coming from.  Just wanted to say thank you
for sharing your setup work for NR2002 & 2003.  They've proven quite
useful! :-)

I had been waiting for the NR2003 converter before downloading your setups.
Guess I waited too long :-)

I completely understand your position though.  Seems there always has to be
a few bad apples to spoil things for everyone else.

Oh, and sorry about the name misspelling :-)

Thanks guys for understanding, and I'm glad you like the setups.

I'll put my site back up soon, I was just angry and needed to do something
to vent the anger <g>

Achim,

It is truly maddening that someone would not pay $15.00 for a
track converter that turns a very good sim into the best. It boggles
the mind.

Thanks to Dave Noonan and crew for your hard work.

Thanks Achim for your setups, I to just love the way your setups
drive, Thanks :)

I'll second that Dave B.  Cruising Spa is wonderful (eventually Ill try all
the tracks).  Thanks to all who made this possible!  Great work.

You didn't say that right.  If you want to be mad that someone posted the
converter(just guessing here), then fine.  Is that what happened?  But to be
mad just because someone won't buy it is wrong.  I didn't buy the n2k2
converter, and I'm not sure if I'll buy the new version.  Why?  I have *enough*
problems just keeping those beast between the walls on the ovals.  I see no
sense in PAYING to torture myself on the old GPL tracks as well...  If that
still maddens you, oh well... :-)

I'm not buying the converter. I already paid for those Papyrus employee made
tracks in GPL and N2003.

Eldred,

You didn't read my post right :) I didn't say I was mad, I simply said
that it is maddening that anyone would steal someone else's work. By
converting a track and then posting it you are stealing intellectual
property and a team of the guys the right to make a few bucks from
there work. IMO that is completely wrong.

PS: Sweet torture it is muscling Ncars around the GPL tracks :)

Yeah, that's what I *figured* you meant.<g>  I hadn't heard that someone had
done that, though.

I seriously expected Nascar's to handle like pigs round those tracks. But
I was amazed at how well they handle the Ring and Spa (the only two I've
tried yet). I would go as far as to say it's easier and more enjoyable to
drive the Ring in a Nascar than it is in GPL!

Ok, maybe equally enjoyable... and I have only done 2 laps so far, neither
of which got a time. But I was expecting a struggle which is why I didn't
buy the N2002 converter. Life has enough struggling already!
