with the BRM. This meant getting times at all the circuits, instead of just
a five-minute-lap at Monza, as I had, after which I had given up driving
this particular chassis.
Going through the circuits alphabetically, it normally took me four or five
laps to set a time I was reasonably satisfied with, compared to my normal
(Ferrari) lap times. Not so at the Ring... I had set myself a goal of 8'30
with the BRM, but haven't beaten 8'44 so far. Alright, only nine laps in
the books so far (which includes non-timed outlaps), but still.
Can I just complain that this BRM thing a) seems to think that when I turn
the steering wheel, changing direction is optional; b) believes my throttle
and brake input are _suggestions_; c) sure knows how to make that
16-cylinder engine wiggle all the way through Pflanzgarten, cleverly making
me think I'll catch that rear with my _next_ steering correction until I
finally give up and face backwards.
I've also managed to spin at the hump of the straight (not Antoniusbuche,
but where you get airborne) twice in consecutive laps. And I'm not even
going to _count_ the number of times I forgot what gear I was in.
Thank you for letting me vent this.

PS. No, I don't need any set-ups. I'll get this beast to do an 8'30 lap for
me, or ELSE! I'll go back to playing Doom. So there.
