I have to admit,  I hated this game right out of the box and agreed
with most of the negative things people were saying especially the
speed sensation  (lack of).

I have an STB velocity 4400 (TNT card) along with two monster3d's on a
p2 450 and it just plin ran shitty.   Well I moved to a new apartment
this weekend and was finally able to set up my computer in the living
room with the TV. I bought a 12 foot cable and pluggedit in the
Velocity's out and ran the opengl version at 800 x 600.   I was
absolutely amazed in the difference the game played. I sat there for 2
hours straight  glued to the TV.  The In car view was amazing and the
speed sensation was great. If you shut the dash off, it was almost too
fast to control ( a nice feeling).

I may be off my rocker because I'm new to the TV out gig  but it sure
was a helluva lot of fun and I can still use the CD as a coaster cause
I don't need it to run it  :)

Before you guys return this game, and if you have the option of TV
out.  Try it out, Guess it makes a better playstation game  hehe

NFS3 was also very cool.  gonna try GPL tonight after i get the opengl
patch

Hope that helps!! Haha good one. I guess the only thing left
is to point out that he either doesn't understand what you are
saying, or simply refuses to believe it.
