Yep, that's why I went CRT>LCD>CRT.

What video card you have? If you have a Radeon the drivers have their
own pivoting tools in the drivers.

SH3 is the perfect example of why I stick to a CRT.  The devs decided
1024X768 was good enough for all.  I cant imagine running a 16x12 native LCD
at 1024X768.  Does it even center at that res?

Then again these are the same folks that gave us the nvidia particle bug and
a deaf sonarman (think about that one)  ;)

I hear there is some mod you can do that ups the res in SH3 but I use
a CRT for *** so I don't care, 1024x768 is my prefered res anyway.

When I saw the 1.3 patch saying it was deleting these sound files at
the end of the patch install I thought something strange was going on.
Grrrr!

Yeah, I read that about Silent Hunter 3 and it bummed me out.  I might still
get it use a secondary display.

As a former Navy Chief Sonar Tech I think I might get a kick out of this
Game.

Any good Mitch ?

GeForce 6800GT.

It might have them too, but to be honest I've never had the desire to spin
er' so I haven't looked too hard.

Yea it is Larry.  Not perfect by a long shot but playable now at something a
bit less than 100% realism.  The Sonar guy went deaf from 1.2 to 1.3 though
and thats my single biggest gripe.  Im mean really, what good is a deaf
Sonar guy ;)

Ive heard about a resolution hack.  Subsim.com or the Silent Hunter general
discussion forums should have all the info somewhere.

You being a ex squid and all should really like get this one ;)  I really
enjoy it and if 1.4 fixes the sonar dude and the Nvidia particle bug we'll
have something.
