Has anyone here ever used or heard anything about the Thomas
Super Wheel (TSW)?  I visited their webpage, and this truly looks
like an amazing wheel/pedal combo, though it is extremely pricey
($270).  If you've had any experience with this wheel, please post
any thoughts you have on it.  Like how durable it is, if it's easy to
configure and calibrate, how well you drive with it, etc...

I have had a TSW for over a year now, and I love it.  It has never given
me any problems. The computer thinks it's a joystick, so you don't have
to worry about programs that can't handle the wheel/pedal combos.  It's
well made and it is durable.  It's as easy to calibrate as a joystick.
I think more of my comments are still posted at the TSW web site,
although I haven't visited there in a while.  If you need any further

helped.

I haven't used it but have certainly heard of it.
I've come to the conclusion, from reading about it in this newsgroup,
that it's probably one the best wheels's there is. Too bad it's so
damn expensive. The price you pay for quality I suppose.

You'll find a review of the TSW at the Late Night website:

I believe that SRN did a roundup on wheels a couple of issues ago as well.
In short, the TSW is a great investment.

Brian,

I personally have a TSW and would _highly_ recommend it. Not only is the
wheel fantastic, but the guy who sells them is a top bloke too - great
support after you've bought it.

If you want more info have a look at Sim Racing News at the WWW address
in my .sig - the August issue has a full review of this wheel, the ECCI-
CDS and the GP500.

Feel free to email me with any questions.

Cheers!
John

Hey, Trev!

Good to hear from you. I dumped CompuServe for a direct internet access
provider, and the change-over took a while.  I just visited your website
- looks great!  Glad to see my comments are still posted - and
everything I said back then still holds true.  Just got N2 and I've been
giving the ol' TSW a work out!! It's gotten so that my wife can hear me
clamp the wheel to the desk from across the house and know that I'm
about to go racing.  Seriously, it's one of the best investments I've
ever made.  I probably would have gone through two or three other wheel
combos by now.  Keep up the good work.
