TSW bad customer relations

I want everyone to know about the TSW crap.  I ordered a wheel the first
week of march.  They cashed my check march 8th.  I was told I would get one
of the last wheels in the batch if I got my check there.  I did, and I
didn't get it.  Ok, that's life someone else got their check there first.
Then I was told the new batch of wheels would start shipping mid april.  I
waited and waited and waited, NO wheel.  I emailed.  Then I was told I
would have it in 2 weeks.  I waited for 3 weeks e-mailed again.  Then I was
told some BS story about how some guy got 3 shipped to him and I would have
my wheel shipped out tuesday may 27th UPS 2day.  That would be thursday, I
waited until friday night.  I e-mailed again.  Now I'm a complainer says
Trevor Thomas.    What really set me off was that guys that ordered a wheel
in April GOT theirs in April!!!.   I wouldn't have minded if Trevor would
have just said that it would take until June to get my wheel.  The constant
lying  is what got to me.  Always being told I would get my wheel and it
never coming.  If you can't deliver on your promised  DON'T MAKE THEM!!!!

I just want to say that I've NEVER been yanked around by a company like
this before. I think it's bad customer relations and I hope none of you
other TSW orderies don't get treated like I did.

Thanks for the info. My shifter just shit the bed on my T2 (Im a
shifting fool I shift at all tracks except dega, dover, MIS, Atl, Bris)
and I was just just about to order one of these TSW things. Im working
on a complete driving simulator that is better and cheaper than the ECCI
unit but its still on the cad machine so I need a wheel and I was going
to order this TSW. But after reading your tale I doubt I will. I dont
know why people in sales always seem to want to make things, like
delivery, sound just a little bit better than it actualy is. I'm with
you if its June say June dont promise March! Guess I'll either go with
"field mod" #3 on the old T2 or just buy another one to hold me over!
Disapointing too becasue from what I hear they are a very good unit. But
if you cant get one I guess It doesnt matter how good it is. Take care
and quit "complaining" <g>

Just get you an ECCI.IT may be expensive but it doesn't break and it get's
here when they say it will.I've had mine about a year now and with a ton of
heavy use Ihave had zero problems.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I had a completely different experience
with Trevor and Thomas Enterprises, obviously a very positive one, since
I've recommended the TSW to a lot of people.

One comment, and perhaps Trevor isn't aware of this, but I'm pretty sure
that there's a federal law that requires the seller to ship product within
6 weeks of receiving payment or they must receive explicit permission from
the customer to continue holding the money. Usually this is in the form of
a postcard you return to tell them you still want the product.

I think Trevor does has some problems to iron out in terms of customer
relations. However, I think his product is worth every penny and well worth
the wait. They are moving into larger quarters soon, and plan to expand
their manufacturing capability to meet the demand. Just one of the risks in
a small business when the product demand exceeds your production
capability.
