Just a simple question...is Nascar 1 dead altogether...should I grow up and
start running Nascar 2?

Yep, while I'm sure there are a handful of diehard N1 fans still running, N2
has pretty much taken it's place, especially with mulitplayer racing on TEN.
And now, with N3 being announced for the end of the year, I'd say N1 is
pretty much done.

Unless of course you are one of the hundred or so like us who run an
offline league <G>.

It is not dead by a long shot. There are many people who use it,
myself included. Brandon Reed , Pete Mc Cole , Chas , Mike Brindle
Barrett Schenk , Tim Dembowski, Chris Arndt, Jaster 'Dan. These are
just a few of the people off the top of my head who are still
making new cars , tracks , utilities for N1.

So it is not dead by along shot, only in a few peoples minds.

There are still a few of us out here... for various reasons.  (Here, it's
the perpetually negative cash flow and the fact that I'm still on a slow
486...)

Now, if only there was an easier way to make N2 cars out of N1 cars...
