Is it possible to change car shapes in GP2?

I'm no hack, but have been very impressed by the work done by all
involved with the Sim Project & BB&B in editing ICR2 car shapes. By
editing 3DO files, a really authentic 97 spec car could be produced (as
are GTP, Can-Am, IRL...). Any chance of this happening in GP2? A sweet
and simple explanation would suffice.

Thanks,

Stanley Chan

It's possible to alter the nose. Either dropped or high noses. This way,
acurate 1996 and 1997 games can be played. And that I think is about it at
this moment.

I use the 1997 special car set from Pieter's GP-2 pages, but when I first
installed it, I noticed many green patches on the cars. So I edited the
jam-files to get rid of these green patches, which are nothing more than
unpainted pieces of car.

    "Fellas, stoke me a clipper,
               I'll be back for Christmas."

"It's sharper than a page of Oscar Wilde whitticisms rolled into a
point,
sprinkled with lemon juice and stuck into someone's eye."

The patches will go away if you disable the sky texture, or go
back to Pieter's page and get the updated version of the carset.

How does one edit 3DO files? I'm sick of the N2 car models.
