NL: Daylight Savings crash!

NL: Daylight Savings crash!

I was racing door to door at Bristol with Cale and the King, sitting in
3rd, trying to handle a car that was getting increasingly prone to a bit
of oversteer as it lightened up on fuel. Full realistic damage, 2 laps
from the end on a 50% race setting (long race).

I flip to the desktop as daylight savings time occurs! I'm right UP
against Petty's door when I flip to desktop.
Carefully turning the wheel to where I think I had it, I click the
toolbar to continue, but no, I careen into
Petty, putting us both in the wall. Cale goes onto win. I figure I'd say
"Hey sorry, Rich, it was a windows thing."

Did you too get into a fight in the infield? :) Daylight savings time
really sucks big time!  No real need for it at all.  It just means now it
will be pitch dark when I get the bus home from work, that's all.  Maybe
if more people got into crashes because of it, things would change! :)

Later,
John

< /staggers onto soapbox ;>

No offense intended, and it really doesn't change your
annoyance at the time zone change...  ;)
but most of the USA is now on _Standard_ time.
(We just left daylight savings time.)

One of the banes of internet events with large numbers
of players from all over the world is the seemingly large
numbers of people that use the wrong time zones
for 10 months of the year. The confusion and frustration of
British Summer Time users and people from Arizona must
be intense. ;)

< /falls off soapbox ;>

Not only you, did anyone else notice that that plane crashed at 2:00 AM?
