I have tried several times to view the raceserver.net website, but I
only get the background and the banner add loaded.  It hangs at 2%
finished and just sits there.  I have it still going in the background
while I write this and it still just won't load.  Netscape4+ and IE 5.1

Been working fine here Dave. I've loaded it several times during the
afternoon/evening and never had a problem.

Must be something local I guess. :(
The new rankings system hasn't come online yet if that was something you
were wanting to check on.

LOL.....

man that sux :(

use?
That's the only other thing I can think of.
Or maybe you have been using a cache proxy and need to change to connect to
internet directly?
I know nothing of how cable works so disregard if that isn't even an option.
:)
I know it has helped me out in the past though with my local dial-up ISP
when UUNET hosed things up. They run a cache proxy that updates through
satellite feed instead of a hardline.

Good luck............

Thanks for the help,  I finally got in using IE 5.1 .  I dloaded the
client software, v1.5.  fired it up and saw a nice empty box.  All the
text and everything was there, just no races.  I had an orange #1 next
to the word server but nothing showed up as to any hosted races.  Is
this NORMAL???  :)

With the 1.5 release they have added support for the trucks and NLegends.
Thusly it's going to require an equivalent upgrade of all the servers to the
new software before you will be able to see them. You will want to grab the
the new racserv.cfg file from the link on the front page also as it is more
up to date than the one in the download area. That file contains all the
addresses of the servers in the network.
Once you overwrite the old file with that one you should then see the 3 Team
Brickyard servers. At least that's the only ones I see as of this post.
Hopefully it won't take more than a day or two for everyone to things
upgraded.

Make sure to get the latest server ip stuff on the main page.  We are
getting the new ranking system and some other stuff all up and running right
now.  It will take a few days til all the older versions of raceserver
software make their transition over to the new software.
