I have heard this same question for the last three years! The answer is
NO.
Geoff Crammond, the author of GP2 was abducted by aliens in 1997. Rumour has
it that he is working on a scooter sim for the aliens.... they won't return
him to Earth until it is finished! We don't expect to see Geoff for a good
few years, by then we should all have GPL-3 ;-))

Apparently the 'big' unveiling of the GP3 movie at E3 was a load of crap! I'm
guess maybe I should wake up & smell the coffee that GP3 isn't going to happen.

Read in PC Gamer here in the UK that GP3 is expected to be released some
time in Dec of this year.

So I reckon we will be looking at the first qtr next year at the
earliest as usual ;-))

Is that the same PC Gamer that also said several times that they would be
printing screenshots of GP3? Then didn't. How many times did they pull that
stunt? I wonder how mags get away with total BS over there. Sorry, not to
offend any Brits (I've read many Brits say the same) apparently this is done to
sell mags. That sucks!

Well, if we look at GP2's track record for release, I would think that the
other 2 Star Wars movies will be out before... :)

LOL ! That means no Grand Prix 3 until 2005 ;-)

Gosh Geoff is probably still spending his whole money he got on GP2 in his
private Island in Hawaii. Heck he did the software mostly by himself, and
didn't do any post-product support, so all the cash after Microprose took it
goes into his hands 8)
