Finally bought Burnout

Well, I was one of those people who didn't buy Burnout when it came
out because it had no***pit view.

I was waiting (and waiting) for NHRA Drag Racing to come out.  Well, I
finally downloaded the Burnout demo, and noticed that Bethesda has
released a patch too.  So I went out and bought Burnout, installed the
patch, and I'm having a ball.  I don't miss the***pit view at all.

I hope that Tantrum comes out with a good drag racing sim, but
meanwhile  I've having a ball with Burnout.

I agree, burnout kicks ass, if you ever wanted to build a motor, chassis,
drivetrain setup and test it on the computer before you sink a few $k into
it, this is the software you need!  Uses the algorythms from Desktop Dyno
software!  You can punch in damn near anything about your car and take it to
the track, so many options.

Now all we need is for bethesda to put up an FTP site where we can all
exchange data files.

Would be a little better with Forced Air, and Nitro, so we can build real
top fuel, and MORE CARS! Always more cars.

Turbos, Nitrous, Nitromethane, 12-71 blowers, paxtons, 4 links, what else do
we dream of.....

I wonder if someone can straighten this out for me. I have a 1989 Supra
Turbo and I am wondering if I can build the inline 3 litre 6 cylinder
24 valves turbo engine and the new corvette engine in burnout? I would also
like to know if four cylinder engines can be built as well?

Donald, you can build facsimiles of those motors with the options
available
but not exact replicas. There is no turbo charge option available at this
time in the
game. It might get included in the future. Yes four cylinders, 6, 8, 10 and
12 as well.
There is a 95 vette in the game, not sure if it is the newer style motor. I
will have to
look. Using exact specs for your engine building should with the patch be
fairly close
HP wise to real life.
