TM GP1 con.file wanted (GP2)

Hi all,

I'm driving Gp2 several months with steering help on and a Thrustmaster GP1
wheel. But since my laptimes aren't improving anymore I want to switch off
the steering help. I tried several times but spun off over and over. Please
could someone give me a good con.file? Or is it just a matter of practise?
Tnx!

Arthur

It will seem strange (oversensitive) if you have been using steering
help, and then try driving with the help turned off.

However, practice and you will improve, and you will be more in control
of the car, and able to take better lines through the corners, especially
when overtaking!!!!

To reduce the feeling of sensitivity, go to the advanced control device
set-up screen.

Increase the "reduce with car speed" option, this will reduce the effect
of turning the steering wheel at high speed. 100% and you get maximum
effect, 0% and you get no effect.

Also reduce the maximum lock of the car to around 18 - 20, or the least
you can use to get around the tightest corner on any track.

Also adjusting the low sensitivity zone will make the steering less
sensitive.

Experiment and practice, and you will find a suitable set-up for YOUR
style of driving, (everyone is different, if you use someone elses set-up
it probably will not suit your style).

Hope the info helps.
