I note that the Richard Petty driving experience, or whatever it's
called, is coming to Rockingham this year. Prices are stiff, of course
(825 quid for 30 laps!) but the link's here.

  Nascar is the organization, not the car type...boy we have to learn
you Brits a few terms.  If we applied a similar logic to riding in a Lister
Storm, it would be....
  Drive a FIA in Britain.
   The Official name for the cars is "Grand National"  however, since the
tobacco firm (RJ Reynolds?) that produces Winston cigarettes came on as the
series sponsor, the cars have been referred to as...
  Winston Cup cars  or shortened to just "Cup" cars.

  Now would you like to learn the proper way to pronounce 'Tires?"
