Can't disagree with you there, fun is what matters. But there are a
lot of NFS5 posts here, and I don't think there is anyone who sleeps
bad because of that, although if you sleep bad because of a newsgroup,
you really have trouble :).
Maybe RM just doesn't appeal to the majority here, and that is why it
is never mentioned ?
And for a lot of us, myself included, I have so much fun with GPL that
whenever I try a new game, if it's race sim or not, I always return to
GPL before i've finished it. And today Imola was suddenly released, no
wonder GPL is talked about all the time
Believe me, when something fundamentally better than GPL is released
(GP3 ?, WSC ?, N4 ? CART2 ?, time will tell), we get the same story
all over again. That's the message I tried to bring in my earlier post
in this tread.
I really don't think you need it. I got a challenge instead, write a
post why you like RM without using the phrase "I know it's no GPL" or
similar defensive strategies. Don't even mention GPL, just write why
you like it, and I bet there are a lot of people who agree.
Just trying to be a bit positive
:)
Disclamer : I haven't even tried RM, because rally doesn't appeal to
me. I own NFS:PU and like it.
