addresses the mirror flicker in the openGL patch for D3d cards, but if it
does could someone please point me in the right direction. Those mirrors are
driving me crazy. Thanks.

AFAIK, the fix is for nvidia opengl only. you have to set the buffer
flipping mode to "use block transfer" in your opengl-settings, which you
find under your display-settings/advance/opengl (depends on your
driver).

Click on Edit>Find and enter FlippingControl in the box.
You should find the Registry value is set to something other than 0 - so
change it, then close the REGEDIT window and start the game again - no
re-boot needed on my system.
Apologies if your implementation of OpenGL does not have this entry, but it
sounds like it should be fairly standard.
