RASCAR NR2003 season sign-ups

John Simmons maintained the list of drivers claiming car numbers for the NR2003 RASCAR season, explaining the rules on reserved numbers until 1 February. David G Fisher suggested running the first race in NR2002 because European drivers would not have the new game. John Simmons said NR2003 was expected to ship to Europe on 14 February.

I got the impression I couldn't reserve a number without signing up, and I couldn't sign up until Ed finished the site? -Ok, now I'm confused. Anyhow, yes I want to continue to compete in RASCAR using the #17 Tektronix Ford. I will create a "j_verschue_RAS" Sierra ID as per the directives on the roster page right now. Jan. =---

88 is reerved until either Feb 01 or until last year's owner (Randall Johnson) says he's not gonna race with us. You can either wait until one of those two things happens, or you can pick another number. Go ahead and sign me up. Driver: Brian Oster Country: USA Current Sierra ID: BOster Car Number: 27 Does anyone know if you can import cars from N2002 to N2003? If I can't then I will probably need to use a car number that ships with N2003 because I don't have the time (and by time I mean skill) to paint a custom car and will pobably need some time to find one I like with the number 27 to DL. If you pick 8 now, that's your number - period. If you want 12, wait until Feb 01 and if it's available, pick that one instead. Of course, you take a chance on loosing that car (8) number and still not being able to get 12, but it's your choice to make. So, what do you want to do?
Decisions Decisions Decisions. Should he look behind curtian number 1 or should he wait and look behind curtian #2? Or , maybe the car is behind curtian #3? Why don't we ask the audience! They seem to know all the answers. Audience, give me some help. What should Phasor do? Should he fold and go with #8? (curtian #1) Or bet the house on the special #12? (curtian #2) Or better yet, surprise us all with mystery # __? (Curtian #3) Curtian #1 or Curtian #2 or Curtian #3 ? Grubs vote is curtian #1. Go with the number 8. Wait. That number 12 is good too. Grub changes his vote. I say curtian #2. Number 12 is going to kick some butt this year. Bet the house on #12 phasor. You can't lose. I'll even bet your next paycheck on it. grub "John Simmons" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

No Richard. I got the first name wrong (my mistake). Before anyone's head explodes, I want to warn you now that I do *occasionally* make a mistake. The last one was when I thought I made a mistake, but found out later that I hadn't. :) Richard, you are in the 49 (unless you really want another number). :)

I appreciate the offer. It is not so much that I want the old paint job, I figured it would just be easier to register under my old number and avoid mixing things up for everyone. If I don't find an n03 car to dl with the number 27 I will just switch to what ever number is left that has a car that ships with n03. Brian Oster

I'm in. I see we have to make NEW Sierra ID's, so I need to do that first (I guess). Sticking with #98. I'm also assuming we officially announce our intention on the RASCAR padddlewheel board. This wasn't entirely clear to me. Larry "John Simmons" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

John, I would like to keep the #15. Don't know if I'll have time to repaint b4 the 1st race, so if you have some free time... ;o) p.s. I spent all last season waiting for you to offer to repaint my car, 'cause it's sooo bland (& I'm no artist), but you never did... <sniffle> -Brian
