EB in Canada sucks, no n2003

Canadian EB stores late with NR2003

Canadian buyers complained that Electronics Boutique would not have NR2003 until 10 February while other stores had stocked it since release day. Several bought it at Future Shop or CompuCentre instead, one at a mispriced bargain, and debated whether a few dollars' difference mattered.

These guys are brutal are brutal in Canada regarding n2003. They still don't have n2003 and it won't get until the 10th! While other stores have had since wednesday. I'm pissed becuase they have my money from a previous returned game and I'm stuck waiting for it. Guess that's what I get for at least being able to return a game.

Was same in Nova Scotia too. Future Shop had it in today though so went there. Now to get my down payment back from EB. "Dave St.Onge" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

I also concur they used to be fairly reliable but not for the last couple of years. I stopped in one of the Edmonton stores and got my money back. On my way out of the mall I stopped at CompuCentre where the idiots have priced it as Thunder 2003 so I got it for $44.99 <g>. Any Edmontonians that want a deal go to the CompuCentre at Kingsway Garden Mall!!! <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > These guys are brutal are brutal in Canada regarding n2003. I paid $10 more than EB at my Compucentre, so they are still way ahead of the game :) Marc "Michael Horton" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:T901a.129743$[email hidden]... > I stopped in one of the Edmonton stores and got my money back. On my wayout

I knowingly paid the extra $10 so I could have it less than a week ahead of EB. It's OK... I wouldn't do it for just any game. Marc "Dalek" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

For the $5 difference in price I had no problem buying it. If your going to nickel and dime over $5 for this sim then your probably not a hard core sim racer anyway IMHO. The $5 means little over the thousands spent for PCs, monitors, seats, wheels, etc. "Dalek" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > On Sun, 9 Feb 2003 00:13:10 -0500, "Marc Collins" > <[email hidden]> reckoned: > > >I knowingly paid the extra $10 so I could have it less than a week aheadof

Yes but BECAUSE I've spent thousands on my equipment, I have precious little to spread around for overpriced software. :) or should that be ;( dave henrie
Ya sorry, my point is lost. All I was saying is that if you want the game bad enough $5 difference in price shouldn't be a reason to hold out. If it were $20 then maybe but for me I would end up spending more time and money looking for cheaper than the $5 difference makes. No--hardcore sim racer is when you would pay double because it is more important than any regular/non-racing game. You may be a hard core gamer, but people here buy new computers just so they can improve the frame rate on the latest racing sim :) Marc "Dalek" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > On Sun, 9 Feb 2003 08:11:12 -0400, "Schooner" <[email hidden]> > reckoned: > > >For the $5 difference in price I had no problem buying it. They used to suck, but now usually have games on the first or second day.
