Finding the GPL-to-NASCAR track converter for NR2003

A league racer looked for the NR2003 track converter and was pointed to sim-garage, where only the NR2002 version was sold; others said tracks converted for NR2002 worked in NR2003 and that the NR2003 update would be free for existing buyers. Confusion followed when the paid converter did not cover Silverstone, which was handled by a separate free converter, and track patches for Monza and Kyalami were recommended.

Everything on this site still says it is for NR2002, but that an NR2003 update is coming. The download is indicated as being a two-parter for NR2002. I see no indication that it is ready for NR2003. Is there a different site, or am I missing something here ? There is no N2003 converter - yet... However, you can use the tracks converted to N2002 in N2003 without any modifications (I think)... You just need to have GPL and N2002 installed (I think).. -- ed_ "Larry" <[email hidden]> skrev i melding news:MDUsa.14580$[email hidden]... > Everything on this site still says it is for NR2002, but that an NR2003 > update is coming. Incidentally, is it usual in the States to write "" as "lb"? We only ever use "lb" for weight over here, y'see. Yeah - ain't that weird. Seems to me the for-pay version of the converter would also include the tracks that were available in the free version.
I ordered, and have received, the converter. Thanks everyone! Larry "Goy Larsen" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > > > Larry wrote: > > > > Well, I just ordered it. Ok, folks. I'm confused. I spent the money to buy the converter to race in tomorrows race, and it doesn't support the damned track (Silverstone). Will someone please tell me what's going on? Larry ] "Larry" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:aYbta.20924$[email hidden]...

Actually, the demo only showed Silverstone for me. And even that didn't work for a lot of us come race time. Luckily, we found a work-around. I'm concerned about the next race though... Did you also download the patches for the tracks? Look on the support page, and if download the one for Monza and Kyalami, and re-convert those tracks. I'll run the server ALL WEEK so that anyone that wants to can check to make sure their monza works with my monza.
