What kind of speeds are you guys seeing with fast setups at Kansas. I am
laying down 31's to 32's on average with my best lap being 31.600.

RASCAR Kansas practice lap times
RASCAR drivers compared practice times at Kansas with the fixed fast setup, mostly in the 31 to 32 second range, while Mark Seery joked about running 27s. They discussed handling, with some finding the car loose on entry and most agreeing it pushed badly off line. The thread also included banter about tyre management and the two-spin rule.
Automated summary.
Yep, about 31's and 32's here as well.

Besides, if you'd put your mind to it, you probably could.

Same here. Best was 31.500. This was offline. Did a 31.127 in a online
practice session.

Uh oh. Looks like everyones times are going to be close. This makes for
either great racing or quick wreckin.
Or both.

Like they haven't been all season... ;-)

Experience suggests it's pretty easy to keep off eachother around there.
Self spinners are a problem, though.

Me thinks some people should get their hand out of their lap and drive with
both hands ;-)

Very loose off two for some apparently. I quite like the setup, apart from
the brake balance.
Top gear and tape conspire to get the water temp up higher than I like to
run as well, but I haven't detonated an engine yet.

Loose on the entry and pushes like anything on exit if you go wide of the
line, especially out of 2 where you have to get out the gas and wait, and
wait, and wait...................

I haven't noticed it being loose on entry. Are you guys that are getting a
loose condition backing totally off of the throttle? I will agree 100% with
the push if you don't hit your marks and stay on the line. It pushes like a
dump truck. If we get some long green runs tire management will be big and I
suck at that.
